Over at The Wrap, they had a chance to sit down and talk with Tim Burton about his L.A. County Museum of Art Exhibition, his relationship with the studios, Johnny Depp, and the movie “Dark Shadows.”  I am a big Tim Burton fan and really want to take a trip up to L.A. to see the exhibit of all his artwork.  I’m so glad they decided to put this show together.  Hopefully, I will make it some time soon and if I get a chance, I’ll post some pictures here. 

Anyway, what I really wanted to do was point out that Tim Burton is already filming the Dark Shadows movie!  There has been so much speculation about if he would do it and when he would do it and if Johnny would have the time and blah blah blah.  Well, it’s getting done and I hope it turns out great.  It’s set to come out on May 11, 2012.  I am a fan of the NBC re-do in the late 80′s and was bummed when it was canceled after one season.  I was mostly upset because they ended it with a good old-fashioned hanging and when they lifted the hood off the person who was hanged it was no longer the person that was originally there!  So, we never got to see what happened and how the switch took place.  Such a bummer.
